Crafted at the New Bernheim Distillery, I. W. Harper 15 year old Kentucky Straight Bourbon offers simplicity at its best in both taste and hue.
Composed of a mash bill containing 86% corn, 6% rye, and 8% malted barley, this decadent bourbon whiskey was originally released in 2015 and is an ongoing offering aged for 15 years with a finished strength of 86 proof.
The aroma is hued with tones of crushed pine needles dipped in dark chocolate and warmly toasted cinnamon and prunes. The palate compliments the nose with additional notes of ginger and cardamom spices over cloves, grain, and buttered eucalyptus herbs.
